About the Club

Portcullis Tennis Club is a Clubmark accredited club with over 200 members located at the Hithercroft Sports Park on the edge of Wallingford. 

Founded in 1952, we have grown steadily and now benefit from 5 newly laid all-weather hard courts and floodlight facilities meaning we can play all year round and compete in various county competitions at all ages and standards. 

We have our own resident coach and a thriving junior section. 

Club sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Wednesday and Saturday mornings.

Historically a summer Club Tournament has been central to the program of the club, and after a brief pause it has been reinstated in recent years.  The winners of the ‘modern’ era tournaments have been:
